The article is illustrating Corona Virus Reporting System for an Affected Patient, corona virus is a deadly virus that has caused a lot of disaster on every lives, it is a one dominated virus that put every life into a big problem, to bring an end to the deadly virus we need a reporting system from the NCDC in Nigeria for an easier correction on how corona virus cases is rising every day. The proposed is a computerized system one that gives chances of reporting  any sign of covid19 illness to the NCDC and the NCDC will quick track the report the instantaneously. Without the help of reporting system, there is no how we can control the spread of covid19 because Corona virus is spread through cough and sneezing, others symptoms are headache and shortness of breath.  Virology and pathogenesis Corona-viruses are enveloped single-stranded RNA viruses that are zoonotic in nature and cause symptoms ranging from those similar to the common cold to more severe respiratory, enteric,s hepatic, and neurological symptoms.

It is caused by a new type of virus. In many cases, medical science and medicaments have prevailed over diseases though knowledge, expertise, capacity and medicaments applied to disease management are inequitably distributed with Africa being the worst hit in most cases.

In the 21st century, advances in information communication technologies (ICTs) have played vital roles in the management of diseases, disease transmission, treatment, and prevention. ICTs have proved effective and efficient tools in the management of a plethora of diseases such as Cholera, Malaria, Hypertension, etc.  It is believed that suitable technologies could be harnessed for managing COVID-19. Through the integration of technology in the spectrum, instrumentation and control campaigns, robust systems including those with real-time capabilities have been developed and implemented across different socioeconomic sectors of the global society including the health sector. Alert systems have been deployed for managing natural disasters . In the area of public health management, medical alert system have been developed to manage patients.

In this paper a COVID 19 tracking and alert system is proposed. The prototype would be a software with web and mobile components. Using these platforms, information dissemination, disease prevalence and position tracking of carriers, confirmed carriers and status of treated patients could be easily managed (Rosenstraus, 2020). In the case of infectious diseases like the COVID-19 pandemic or any other viral outburst, the contact tracking of the infected patient becomes important for isolation and containment strategies. This tracking of the contacts can further be categorized as a primary, secondary, or tertiary contact. Deducing this information from manual interviews of the patient has its own limitations.

In this case, digital contact tracking comes to the rescue, by utilizing the digital means of contact tracking through apps or wearable devices. The apps installed on the handheld devices communicate through encounter messages and share/save information on the servers or handheld devices itself for carrying out the patient contact analysis. The type of the information being exchanged, saved, and processed gives rise to the different architectures i.e. centralized, decentralized, and hybrid (Mitchell, 2020).

The aim of this study is to design and implement a corona-virus reporting system for an affected patient.

The objectives are:

  1. To design an active computerized system to report cases on covid19
  2. To design an integrated software that combine expert system output as input.
  • To design a system that put an end to corona virus through diagnosis
  1. To design measures that must be included in each assay to verify that the test is working properly
  2. To design a system that will be ensure that the final results reported by a COVID-19 testing laboratory are as correct and accurate as possible.




Technology has played a significant role in the detection, prevention and control of public health problems. Sophisticated evolutionary technologies have been applied. Notable systems include Corona Virus Reporting System, clinical decision support systems, expert systems, electronic health systems, to mention but few. To a great extent, computing and information technologies have demystify diagnosis and managet of complex medical cases as they are employed at various levels ranging from information gathering, documentation, intelligent insights to accurate decision making. Modern ICTs readily augment human expertise in several ways, such as: system-enabled diagnosis, disease management, drug administration, expert prognosis, etc. With the outbreak of COVID 19, tracking of cases has been challenging in prevalent regions and less prevalent regions alike.

Having regard to the foregoing, this work proposes a full tracking system to augment the activities of public health workers and security agencies in tracking cases from the point of entry and association with cases (Dhiman, 2020).


The scope of the project is to design and implements a Corona Virus Reporting System for an Affected Patient. The proposed system is acting like NCDC, information of those who has contacted covid19 will be reported and the gathered information from different sources is the target to update the Nation as a Confirmed cases. The system will be storing records of all patients, scheduling of Discharged cases, scheduling of Deaths cases from confirmed case. The total number of confirmed cases, discharged cases and Deaths cases can be easily retrieve when needed.


Currently, information on the Covid-19 and applicable management procedures in most countries is limited thus creating a knowledge and management gap among the populace and even health management personnel especially in areas susceptible to the pandemic. In response to the aforementioned, this paper proposes Corona Virus Reporting System for an affeected Patient (CVRS) that enhances information dissemination, disease management, reporting of cases, and management of confirmed cases

SYSTEM: A system is a collection of elements or components that are organized for a common purpose. A computer system consists of hardware components that have been carefully chosen so that they work well together and software components or programs that run in the computer.

The main software component is an operating system that manages and provides services to other programs that can be run in the computer.

AFFECTED: Affected is defined as a situation when something impacts you or is something that was directed towards you and resulted in some emotional or other change in you.

PATIENT:A patient is a person who is receiving medical treatment from a doctor or hospital. A patient is also someone who is registered with a particular doctor.
