The Evaluation of Substance Abuse on Students’ Drop out in School

Substance misuse and its relationship to school withdrawal is a very nuanced and researched topic. Furthermore, drug addiction can impair children’ social and emotional development, making it more challenging for them to create healthy connections with classmates and educators. For some children, school may become a less welcoming and stimulating place because of this. Because of this, students may begin to feel alienated from their education and become more likely to quit.

Substance misuse has a significant impact on student attrition, and tackling it effectively would need a multifaceted strategy. This include proactive measures including early detection and intervention, as well as well-designed treatment plans.
